1. Fill in the SNI Application Form

The application form constitutes one of the mandatory requirements for the SNI documentation, and it must be completed bilingually in both Chinese and English. To obtain the SNI certification application form, please reach out to SINOQUAL for procurement.

2. Submit the applicant's legal and technical documents

Applicants are required to submit their company's legal and technical documents. Please see the details for details.appendix1.

3. Verify & GAP Assessmentverifyand gap assessment

SINOQUAL conducts verification and gap assessments on the documents submitted by applicants for SNI certification to determine whether they meet the conditions for a site audit.

3. Producer Quality Management System AuditProducer quality management system audit

Checking the conformity between the completeness and adequacy of the producer’s quality management system document against the application requirements. If any discrepancies are found, they will be asked to correct them within two months.

4. Sample Testsampletest

Sample testing by taking a sample of the product to be tested and labeling the test sample (LCU), then sealing. Sample testing is carried out in an accredited test laboratory.

5. Sample AssessmentSample evaluation

After the testing process, a Test Result Certification will be issued. If the results do not meet the standards, they will be asked to repeat until they are in accordance with the provisions. If it cannot meet the standards, the application will be rejected.

As we know, in doing SNI, there should be one LocalRrepresentative mentioned on the certificate. The role of this LR is as the one who will be responsible of the product in Indonesia. So, in case there is something happen in the future, authority knows who to contact.

Local representative here can be the distributor, importer, local brand representative, or any other party. And during the process, local representative is mandatory to submit SNI document requirements, including legal documents. Common documents that need to be submitted are:
