Congratulations to Shenzhen SINOQUAL on officially becoming a council member unit of the Guangdong Food Circulation Association and being appointed as one of its 8 specialized committee units—'Chairman of the Export Service Professional Committee'—responsible for providing various support to the 500-plus member enterprises of the Guangdong Food Circulation Association, including export big-data information, market analysis reports, foreign-trade risk assessment, overseas export policy requirements, qualification and certification consulting, point-to-point services, and overseas referral and promotion, helping more enterprises safeguard their exports.
The Guangdong Food Circulation Association has 8 specialized committees: the Charity and Public Welfare Activities Committee, the Food Safety Experts Committee, the Integrity Alliance Working Committee, the Export Service Professional Committee, the Enterprise Intellectual Property Committee, the Food Traceability System Committee, the Government Project Application Committee, and the Member Legal Services Committee, among which SINOQUAL is responsible for the work of the Export Service Professional Committee.
On July 29, 2020, the SINOQUAL team went to the Guangzhou headquarters of the Guangdong Food Circulation Association to attend the awarding and appointment ceremony for the 'Council Member Unit of the Guangdong Food Circulation Association' and the 'Chairman of the Export Service Professional Committee of the Guangdong Food Circulation Association.' Combining their years of deep cultivation and operating experience in food circulation and certification respectively, the two sides held extensive and in-depth exchanges around the theme of 'establishing and improving the food safety system to effectively empower food production enterprises.'

Association profile:
The Guangdong Food Circulation Association is a social organization with legal-person status, approved and registered in accordance with the law by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Civil Affairs. It is a local, non-profit social organization formed by the voluntary participation of industries and related groups engaged in food production, distribution and related services within the administrative region of Guangdong Province. The association's current members mainly consist of food production enterprises (sales companies), food distributors (agents), commercial chain enterprises, and food quality inspection and testing institutions, and it currently has several hundred member enterprises within Guangdong Province.
Association mission:
To build an industry-oriented service system covering information services, technical services, management services, and legal rights protection; to advocate the business ethics of integrity, civility and self-discipline; to promote the spirit of unity, mutual assistance and mutual benefit; to create a development environment of fair competition, exchange and cooperation, and harmonious win-win; to safeguard the overall interests of the industry and the order of market competition; and to make its due contribution to promoting and coordinating the development of the socialist market economy. The association accepts the business guidance and supervision of the social-organization registration authority and relevant government functional departments.
Association functions:
1. Establish channels for food quality and consumer complaints and reports, build and improve a food safety early-warning mechanism, and promptly issue food safety consumption guidelines.
2. Build and improve the food circulation safety system, specifically carry out the 'food circulation contract-abiding and credit-valuing' enterprise publicity campaign, with public display and awarding by provincial and municipal industry-and-commerce departments.
3. Formulate, establish and improve a quality-tracking service management system for the food circulation chain, coordinate with government functional departments for supervision, and maintain food circulation order.
4. Carry out domestic and international economic, trade and technical exchanges and cooperation to help enterprises obtain better circulation platforms.
5. Provide consulting assistance for member units in handling relevant approvals from the provincial food and drug administration.
6. Provide recommendation assistance for member units in handling relevant approval matters in the provincial industry-and-commerce system, such as well-known trademark recognition.
7. Participate in the supervision of the food circulation market and maintain a fair market environment.
8. Organize and carry out the appraisal of industry scientific and technological achievements and new products.
9. Jointly with government functional departments, conduct food-market rectification, anti-counterfeiting, and rights-protection actions; safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of member units and provide legal aid to them in accordance with the law.
10. Undertake the transfer of government functions and other tasks entrusted or assigned by other departments.
