At 8 a.m., we set off toward the sun in two groups!
Our destination was the Guanlan Mountain & Water Pastoral park. Before setting off, we had made thorough arrangements and prepared the barbecue ingredients; all that was needed was a good mood.
The other group had already bought tickets and was waiting for us inside the park. After meeting up, we first chose the barbecue spot and then began touring the park.
We picked fresh strawberries at the strawberry base and came back with a full harvest.
Moving to the parking lot, we took a group photo and then played games! 'Teacher Says' tested everyone's sense of direction, while charades required tacit teamwork among group members. Everyone gestured and danced about, laughing themselves silly, and in the end the game winners even received prizes.
Linda and May were hosting the game, teacher Musa was gesturing, Beryl was guessing, and teacher Pauking was timing-clear division of labor, and the game was in full swing.
Can you guess what teacher Pauking was gesturing? Playing a stringed instrument (qin)-haha, by the homophone 'qin' you could guess 'qin' (celery), and from there figure out Western celery. Teacher Pauking is really clever!

At noon, the long-awaited barbecue began. Lighting the fire, washing vegetables, cutting meat, and skewering-everyone had their own task, in an orderly manner. As everyone tasted the fruits of their own labor, they smiled with delight; the people around us could not stop drooling at the sight of our delicious halal barbecue feast-truly envious!
After the barbecue, we watched stage performances; the singing, dancing, acrobatics, sketches, and crosstalk were all wonderful. The most touching was the small-animal performance: a dog jumping through a steel hoop, a goat and a little monkey teaming up to cross a single-plank bridge, a piglet diving, and ducks racing-all absolutely spectacular.
Then we rowed a boat on the lake, and in high spirits even hummed a tune. Because everyone rowed in tacit coordination, we smoothly returned to shore-it turns out team spirit is everywhere.
We also took the high-altitude cableway and experienced the thrill of flying through the air-look how happily teacher Pauking is laughing!
Finally, we watched a 7D movie and truly experienced the shaking of a disaster scene and the howling wind and rain.
After one more round of barbecue, we ended our unforgettable day's journey!
