The Ningxia trade delegation attended the 6th World Halal Forum and introduced Ningxia's regional conditions, areas of foreign economic and trade cooperation, and the development of its halal industry to experts and scholars from governments, business and industry circles, international organizations, certification bodies and academia of Muslim countries, sincerely inviting delegates from various countries to attend the 2011 'China-Arab States Expo.' The Ningxia trade delegation found good cooperation partners, and the two sides reached consensus on the export of Halal food and Muslim goods and on cooperation in sand prevention and control. At this forum, through contact and communication with Malaysia's Hongyu Group, the IMAF company, Malaysia's Fahim Technology Co., Ltd., and Singapore's International Enterprise board, the Ningxia trade delegation reached cooperation consensus on halal industry cooperation, the Yinchuan Yuehai Bay business district, the Ningxia World Muslim City and other projects. Among them, the autonomous region's Investment Promotion Bureau signed a letter of intent for economic and trade cooperation with the IMAF company, and the autonomous region's Forestry Bureau also signed a letter of intent for sand-prevention-and-control cooperation with the IMAF company.
