Chinese enterprises win the Best Organization Award; exhibited goods are very popular
Shaanxi Lifeng International Business Co., Ltd., which organized the Chinese delegation, won the Best Organization Award again at this fair. Building on last year's MIHAS, the China Lifeng delegation made new breakthroughs, increasing not only the number of booths and attendees but also the variety of exhibited goods.
Chili peppers, seaweed, kiwi slices and halal bone china attracted great attention from buyers around the world. Tangshan chestnuts signed orders for 20 containers on the first day of the show. Fair general manager Li Sunke hopes the Lifeng Group will bring more Chinese enterprises to MIHAS in 2012. Wang Yunzhen, managing director of Malaysia's Lifeng Group, revealed that starting next year the group plans to invite provincial governments of China to take turns organizing delegations to participate in the fair, so as to supply more and better halal goods to the Muslim world.
Singapore enterprises focus on the Halal frozen food import market
At the ongoing 8th Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS), Singapore enterprises focused on the Halal frozen food import market. 18 Singapore companies are increasingly interested in this. The participating companies include Sing Long Foodstuff Trading Pte Ltd, Chuan Chong Food Industries (Singapore) Pte Ltd, Mohamed Mustafa & Samsuddin Co Pte Ltd, TSL Marketing & Distributors Pte Ltd, and NTUC Fairprice Co-operative Ltd.
