This declaration makes packaging part of the halal standards, and also includes Halal certification of cosmetics, perfume, clothing and decorations.
Mohammed said: 'This is the dream of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, to make Dubai a Halal economy metropolis, and this plan is only part of the project. Through this project, we can confirm that the Halal products people consume are genuine Halal products.'
