Ningxia opens air corridor to the Middle East, with Yinchuan to Dubai taking just 6.5 hours
Ningxia News Network (Reporter Yang Li) A charter cargo flight from Yinchuan to Shenzhen and Dubai has launched, with the inaugural cargo being provided by the Ningxia Products Sales Center in the UAE (Dubai). With the launch of this new route, travel time from Yinchuan to Dubai will be reduced to just six and a half hours. Going forward, Ningxia's specialty products, such as halal beef, mutton, cashmere, and long dates, will have the advantage of entering the Middle Eastern market via international charter cargo flights.
Autonomous Region leaders Wang Zhengwei, Zhao Xiaoping, He Xueqing and Xie Menglin attended the maiden voyage ceremony.

Historically, Ningxia beef, mutton, and long dates exported to the Middle East had to transit through Tianjin's transit port, taking approximately 30 days to reach the Middle East. This not only restricted the export of Ningxia's competitive products, but also increased production and operating costs, hindering the development of Ningxia's halal food businesses. The opening of the Yinchuan-Dubai air route will make Ningxia a transit point for Middle Eastern routes, allowing domestic halal food to enter the Middle Eastern market and strengthening cooperation between Ningxia and the region.
In his speech, Zhao Xiaoping, Vice Chairman of the Ningxia Autonomous Region, stated that the launch of the Yinchuan-Shenzhen-Dubai cargo charter flight route is of great significance for promoting Yinchuan's development as a western logistics hub and accelerating the development of Ningxia's inland open economy. It also marks the first time that Ningxia has achieved air connectivity with the Middle East and Central Asia, opening a new chapter in economic exchanges between Ningxia and the Arab world.
