UAE International Halal Certification Agency Forum

The Cabinet meeting, chaired by the UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Dubai leaders, approved the establishment of the International Forum of Halal Certification Bodies, headquartered in Dubai, dedicated to regulating the booming industry and introducing a supervisory mechanism to protect consumer rights and promote the industry.
The forum will help establish a global system for halal and non-halal food certification, ensure and promote trade activities in the halal industry, and promote links between regional and global organizations.
The International Halal Certification Bodies Forum held in the UAE reflects the government’s commitment to becoming a global reference for halal food certification regulations.
