VPTI (Import Verification or Technology Tracking)

The Import Verification Program (VPTI) aims to ensure that import licenses and/or related supporting documents match the actual condition of specific imported goods. This verification is conducted by inspectors authorized by the Indonesian Ministry of Trade. The verification result is an Inspection Report (LS), one of the documents required for importation.

VPTI range
The scope of VPTI includes administrative verification and physical verification, and is carried out in accordance with the trade minister regulations applicable to various goods that need to comply with VPTI requirements.
VPTI is implemented in the country of loading, the port of loading in the country of origin, the bonded area or special economic zone (KEK), and is carried out in accordance with the trade minister regulations applicable to each type of commodity that must comply with VPTI requirements.
The scope of VPTI includes at least the following:
Verify and confirm the consistency of data and administrative documents.
Identify product specifications/standards through qualitative and/or quantitative analysis.
Other required data and/or information
Administrative inspections are conducted by the KSO SCISI headquarters and the implementing party's Hub Office, while physical inspections of the goods are carried out by the inspection office located at the location of the goods. All inspection companies partnered with KSO SCISI have excellent international reputations and service networks in the countries of origin or ports of loading.
