An air corridor from Ningxia to the Middle East opens; Yinchuan to Dubai takes only 6.5 hours.
Ningxia News Net (reporter Yang Li) The Yinchuan-Shenzhen-Dubai cargo charter route has opened, with the cargo for the maiden flight provided by the Ningxia Products UAE (Dubai) Sales Center. After the route opened, it takes only 6.5 hours from Yinchuan to Dubai. In the future, Ningxia's advantageous specialty products such as halal beef and mutton, cashmere and jujubes will be able to enter the Middle East market via international cargo charter flights.

Looking back at history, Ningxia's products such as beef, mutton and jujubes needed to be transshipped through the port of Tianjin to be exported to the Middle East market, taking about 30 days to reach the Middle East. This not only constrained the export of Ningxia's advantageous products but also increased production and operating costs, affecting the development of Ningxia's halal food enterprises. After the Yinchuan-Dubai air route opened, it can make Ningxia a transit point for Middle East routes, allow domestic halal food to enter the Middle East market, and strengthen cooperation between Ningxia and the Middle East region.
Autonomous region Vice Chairman Zhao Xiaoping said in his speech that the opening of the Yinchuan-Shenzhen-Dubai cargo charter route is of great significance to promoting the construction of Yinchuan as a western logistics hub city and accelerating the development of the open economy in our inland region. At the same time, it is also the first time Ningxia has achieved aviation connectivity with the Middle East and Central Asia, opening a brand-new page for economic exchanges between Ningxia and the Arab region.
