UK: The Halal Council of Europe (HCE) Obtains GAC Accreditation

The Halal Certification Europe (HCE) has announced that it obtained accreditation from the GAC Accreditation Center. The GAC accreditation of the Gulf Accreditation Center ensures a strong international standardization foundation for its Halal standards. Through GAC accreditation, we are also registered with ESMA (UAE).

HCE Halal Certification was established in 1992 as the UK's first non-profit organization serving Halal consumers. As a Halal certification body, HCE will take this opportunity to return to its original intention; HCE is happy to demonstrate its sincerity in becoming a pioneer of Halal standards, thanking JAKIM, MUI, GAC and MUI for setting their goal of increasing systematization to ensure Halal standards.

HCE is proud of this achievement, which shows that HCE meets the strict standards set by GAC; HCE hopes this will be the beginning of a very productive cooperation. This accreditation is an important milestone in HCE's most stringent standards and continuous improvement of HCE's practices; it reflects HCE's commitment, dedication and investment in achieving global industry Halal standards. We hope this will be the beginning of a productive relationship, strengthening Halal communities around the world with shared Halal standards, goals and ideals.
