Application Process

1. Submit application materials:

  • Application form
  • Declaration that equipment and ingredients contain no pork-derived sources
  • Process flow chart of the product to be certified
  • Basic factory information and factory floor plan
  • Factory qualifications (production licence, ISO or HACCP, business licence)

2. Sign the contract

3. Initial review and registration on SIHALAL

4. Training

The Indonesian Halal Supervisor provides Indonesian Halal standard training to the applicant.

5. The company establishes and trial-runs the SJPH system, and submits evidence of the trial run:

  • SJPH manual
  • Evidence of Halal policy communication
  • Internal Halal training records
  • Internal audit and management review report

6. Pre-audit or gap assessment (one day)

A pre-audit or gap assessment of the SJPH system documents and supporting evidence established by the applicant, to assess the gap against the Halal standard and provide corrective recommendations.

7. On-site audit

8. Auditors' meeting

9. Document rectification after the factory audit

10. The Fatwa session approves the certificate application
