SNI Certification Process
1. Complete the SNI application form
The application form is an essential part of SNI document submission and must be completed in both Chinese and English. Contact SINOQUAL to obtain the SNI certification application form.
2. Submit applicant legal and technical documentation
Applicants must submit company legal documentation and technical documentation.
3. Verification and gap assessment
SINOQUAL verifies and assesses gaps in the submitted SNI certification documents to determine if the applicant meets on-site audit conditions.
4. Producer quality management system audit
Checks the completeness and adequacy of the producer quality management system documentation and its compliance with application requirements. If any discrepancies are found, corrections must be made within two months.
5. Sample testing
Product samples are extracted, labeled on the test sample (LCU), then sealed for testing. Sample testing is conducted in accredited testing laboratories.
6. Sample evaluation
After testing, a test results certificate is issued. If results do not meet standards, retesting is required until compliance. If standards cannot be met, the application is rejected.
7. Certification decision
An independent panel convenes to discuss audit and test results.
8. Submit SPPT-SNI
After the panel meeting, the review team will classify the relevant company or producer based on legal completeness, standard provisions, production process, and quality management system.
