From August 21 to 25, 2019, the Hira Foundation in Karachi held a five-day Halal auditor training in Pakistan; it is a well-known Muslim school in Pakistan. Seven HFC members, including our Halal regulation experts, technical experts and auditors, attended the training. HFC Vice Chairman and Senior Auditor Tahir Iqbal also traveled from Hong Kong to Karachi to attend.

Chairman of the Global Halal Research Center, a renowned scholar of Hira Foundation principles, and an expert in Halal food and finance

Halal food expert, food scientist, scholar, and chief Halal food auditor

Dr. Sayed Muhammad Ghufran Saeed
Food scientist, associate professor in the Department of Food Science and Technology at the University of Karachi, and HEJ researcher

Mr. Shahryar Ahmed
Pakistan CBE SGS manager, a renowned quality food safety and Halal expert/auditor.
This was a highly beneficial training, covering all aspects of audit rules, technology and hygiene in Halal certification. HFC members also shared their experiences. The HFC Vice Chairman attended the meeting and introduced HFC's important experience serving hundreds of enterprises in China to well-known speakers in Pakistan's Halal food industry and other important representatives from various fields, receiving unanimous praise from attendees.
